PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head prevented from causing dot omission even when paper dust adheres to the vicinity of a nozzle opening: and to provide a liquid jet device.SOLUTION: A liquid jet head includes: a nozzle plate such that a plurality of nozzle openings are formed on a silicone substrate; a flow pass formation substrate which is joined to the nozzle plate and is provided with a pressure generation chamber communicating with the nozzle openings; and an actuator which is mounted on a side opposite to the nozzle plate of the flow pass formation substrate and causes pressure change in the pressure generation chamber. A plurality of projection parts having tapered surfaces and top faces projecting to a discharge surface side, are formed on a discharge surface of the nozzle plate.
