PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuation cause determination method in a heat sensor capable of accurately and easily determining whether a heat sensor actuation cause is a failure of the device, or intentional or other human behaviors.SOLUTION: There is provided an actuation cause determination method in a heat sensor 2 that senses heat and issues a fire alarm. A thermolabel 3 is attached to the heat sensor 2, and when the heat sensor 2 is actuated, and fire-fighting equipment is started though there is no fire, the color of the thermolabel 3 is checked. If the color of the thermolabel 3 has not changed, it is determined that the cause of the heat sensor actuation is a failure of the device, and if the color of the thermolabel 3 has changed, it is determined that the cause is a non-fire alarm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
