PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting cardiac failure that can judge the progress of cardiac failure or the effects of treatments of cardiac failure.SOLUTION: Determining the ratio of β-ANP and a total ANP (for example, the ratio of β-ANP to a total ANP, β-ANP/a total ANP), using a measuring method with high specificity to β-ANP and a measuring method for the total ANP of α-type ANP, β-type ANP, and γ-type ANP, can detect cardiac failure and judge the progress of cardiac failure or the effects of treatments of cardiac failure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
