PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cyclic olefin-based resin foam particle which makes it possible to give a foam molding having an excellent appearance.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a foam particle for in-mold molding by foaming a foamable particle comprising cyclic olefin-based resin as base material resin and inorganic physical foaming agent, where the foaming is performed at least once, and the first foaming is performed under the condition where a foam particle with a volume density of 0.51-0.051 g/cmis obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
