PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately anonymize position information by simple processing.SOLUTION: Provided is a position information anonymization method executed by a computer, the method including a position information acquisition step for acquiring a plurality of pieces of position information and an anonymization step for replacing the plurality of pieces of position information with an extended area that includes k or more pieces of position information (k is a positive integer). In the anonymization step, the extended area is determined as an area in any hierarchy among a plurality of areas structured by a tree structure or an area derived by excluding one or a plurality of lower hierarchy areas from the area in any hierarchy. Here, it is preferable that the extended area be determined not to include lower hierarchy areas that include k or more pieces of position information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
