Meat removal from bones - using a hydraulic press with a cylinder of perforated demountable rings

Small amts. of meat remaining on bone can be recovered in a hydraulic press. The cylinder in which the bones are compressed has an unperforated section, and a section built up from a number of rings one above the other. The ring section has holes through which the meat escapes as a puree while the pieces of crushed bone are retained in the cylinder. Pref. the openings are at the joints between adjacent rings are broader than they are long. The openings are easy to clean when the ring stack is dismantled. Used for recovering meat from fish, meat or chicken bones.
