Self-cleaning intake screen for take-off of purified liquid from a polluted, flowing medium
摘要
A self-cleaning intake screen is described which has the property of cleaning itself without mechanical apparatuses which are moved directly on the screen. The use of this screen is useful anywhere where polluted or even highly polluted flowing media, for example flowing waters, are to be pumped off. The self-cleaning is performed on the one hand by the flowing medium itself and on the other hand by passive or active axial rotation of the intake screen, at each point in time dirt particles being integrated onto the screen half which faces towards the direction of flow and at the same time the dirt particles are flushed off again and carried away from the screen half which faces away from the direction of flow.
