<p>The connecting device according to the invention enables a first tubular component (1) to be connected coaxially to a second tubular component (3) with the interposition of a flat sealing ring (5). Gripping sleeves (16, 21) enable the tubular components (1, 3) to be centred and axially tightened. The first tubular component (1) comprises, on its front connecting face (6), a circular axial rib (28) extending the surface of its axial bore (2) and engaging in the central hole of the ring (5). In the assembled position, the extremity of the axial rib (28) is very close to the front face (7) of the second tubular component (3). A connecting device of this kind is of application in the semiconductor, cryogenic, and fibre-optic industries. <IMAGE></p> |
