<p>A boring tool (1) comprises a tool head (2) and a tool insert (3) detachably mounted on the tool head (2) by a screw (5) arranged to extend through a bore (11) in the tool insert (3) and having a head (15) engageable with an offset frusto-conical recess (14) at the outer end of the bore (11) such that, on tightening the screw (5), the tool insert (3) is urged radially against an axial abutment face (17) of the tool head (2) to locate accurately the tool insert (3) on the tool head (2).</p> |
