PURPOSE: To provide a method for copying a comparatively thin document which consists of translucent or thin material where the image on a back side is made to be transmitted to the other part of a copying device. CONSTITUTION: The density of a document is detected by using a detecting system 49, and it is so judged that the image of a background is transparent when not detected. A copying machine automatically supplies a black sheet 102 as back sheet on thin or translucent material 32, and eliminates uniform gray ground caused in the case that it is not executed using copying and writer characteristics from an original document. It is performed automatically or by the instanction from an operator. |
