PURPOSE:To achieve the high seed and the high accuracy of measuring operation for radiation spectrum and to make the entire apparatus compact with respect to a radiation-spectrum measuring apparatus wherein the radiation from a material to be measured such as a used measuring apparatus which is exposed to radiation and a drum filled with radioactive waste is detected and measured with a spectrum detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:In a radiation-spectrum measuring apparatus, an AD converter 11, a converted-value recording memory device 12 and a data processing device 14 having a display device 13 are sequentially connected to a spectrum detecting sensor 10 facing a body to be measured 1. An offset generator 15 which can input a position switching signal is provided between the AD converter 11 and the converted-value recording memory device 12. A movement detecting device 16 is connected to the offset generator 15 so as to output a position switching signal (b).
