PURPOSE:To provide a compound press capable of performing two kinds of working during a descending process of an upper die and which is also highly durable. CONSTITUTION:An upper die 1 is provided with a movable drive cam 3 and a fixed drive cam 4 each having a cam face 3a, 4a. The movable drive cam 3 is attached movably in the horizontal direction on the upper die 1. A lower die 6 is provided with a first passive cam 7 which slides on the cam face 3a of the movable drive cam 3 at the time of descending of the upper die 1 and which is pressurized and moved horizontally; and this first passive cam 7 is provided with a second passive cam 8 which slides on the cam face 4a of the fixed drive cam 4 and which is pressurized and moved horizontally. Each cam is provided with a different kind of working tool 15, 16. The lower die 6 is also provided with a back-up part 11 which receives a pressurizing reaction of the movable drive cam 3 at the time of descending of the movable drive cam 3, and which, releasing the receiving in the middle of the descending, allows the retreating movement of the movable drive cam 3. |
