PURPOSE: To provide an inverter which can become less in loss and high in speed of response. CONSTITUTION: An inverter 20 is constituted by connecting in series a fixed- voltage inverter 11 which has a low switching frequency and outputs a fixed voltage with a variable-voltage inverter 12 which has a high switching frequency and outputs a variable voltage so that the inverter 20 can become less in loss and high in speed of response. |
