摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable controlling of the number of operating units of feed water pumps with a reduction in restraint or burden on personnel in charge of setting and adjustment on the job site by a method wherein the maximum number of operating units, a designed flow rate, a designed pressure and a terminal necessary pressure of the feed water pumps are set and a pressure is calculated to alter the number of operating units for each thereof. SOLUTION: Chilled water or hot water circulated back through a room side air conditioning device is sent to a group 1 of heat source devices such as a refrigerating unit or a water boiler through a header 5 and a plurality of feed water pumps 3... are connected to a header 2 for gathering chilled water produced by cooling or hot water produced by heating with the group 1 of heat source devices. The water pressurized by the feed water pumps 3... is fed to the room side air conditioning device through pipings in respective systems on the room side through a header 4. Then, a proper numeral of a pressure to alter the number of operating units of the feed water pumps 3 is determined by a specified formula from the maximum number of operating units of the feed water pumps 3 and a designed flow rate, a designed pressure and a terminal necessary pressure thereof.
