<p>A mobile communication system between a mobile station and a base station where upstream and downstream time slots are assigned in a TDMA frame using a single frequency (f1). When a mobile station (MS11) transmits an upstream signal (1) simultaneously to a plurality of base stations (BS1, BS2) installed at different places during a time slot (t1), the base stations (BS1, BS2) measure the transmission quality of the signal (1) independently, and a base station having the best transmission quality measured by a base station controller (BSCE) is selected. The selected base station transmits a downstream signal (2) to the mobile station (MS11) during a time slot (t9). Thus, a mobile communication system for transmitting high quality communication information is realized.</p> |
