Manufacture of polymeric products involves introducing a mass containing more than one natural polymer such as starch into a mold and heating such that crosslinking of natural polymer occurs. Material composition of a first part in the product is influenced such that properties of the first part deviates from the parts adjoining it. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) Product having a foamy blown structure comprising first and second parts, the first part has a core having large blown cells covered on 2 opposite sides by an outer layer having small cells and a compact structure. At least one portion of the first part in the product has one or more outer layers and softener concentration in one of the outer layers is higher than the parts adjoining it and at least one outer layer is more flexible than outer layer of adjoining parts; (ii) Injection molding apparatus which has separate injectors for injecting the first and second mass, heating unit and a unit which connects heating unit and the mold; (iii) Mass used in the method of manufacture and (iv) Coating used in the manufacture of molded product.
