PURPOSE: A control method of an inverter booster pump system is provided to reduce the energy consumption by driving a pump or pump combination at a peak of energy efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensor measures the pressure of a water feed pipe(S101). The measured actual pressure and a preset pressure are compared(S102). If the preset pressure is higher, one pump is operated(S103). The changed pressure of the water feed pipe is measured and compared to the preset pressure(S104). If the preset pressure is higher, it is determined whether the operational efficiency of the pump reaches the peak(S105). If the operational efficiency of the pump reaches the peak, additionally another pump is operated(S106).
