PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the carrying failure such as jam by pressing a movable carrying guide mechanism to the inner wall of an installation port so as to be elastically recessed and deformed at the time of inserting and removing a feed cassette through the installation port. SOLUTION: A movable carrying guide member 55 comprises a strip-like (plate-like) movable guide 70 having a length fitted to the lateral dimension of a recording paper P having the maximum dimension, a plate spring-like guide pressing member 71, and a shaft 70a. When a feed cassette 30 is pulled out from an installation position, a guide pressing member 71 is pressed down in a direction A by the lower surface of a carrying guide 62 (the inner surface of an installation port), and retreated down (elastically deformed). Therefore, the movable guide 70 is also rotated counterclockwise about the shaft 70a and fitted to a clearance 75, whereby the feed cassette 30 can be separated to the outside. When the feed cassette 30 is installed, the movable carrying guide mechanism 55 is returned in a direction B after once deformed in the direction A, and finally restored to the original attitude.
