<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which is reduced in DC power consumption when an input signal is at a low amplitude level. <P>SOLUTION: The detector includes first and second input terminals IN1, IN2, first and second transistors M1, M2, and a load element M3. The first and second input terminals IN1, IN2 are supplied with complementary input signals reverse to each other in phase. The first input terminal IN1 is connected to the first input electrode of the first transistor M1 and the second input electrode of the second transistor M2. The second input terminal IN2 is connected to the second input electrode of the first transistor M1 and the first input electrode of the second transistor M2. The load element M3 is connected between output electrodes of the transistors M1, M2 and an operating voltage input Vdd. A detection voltage V<SB>IN1</SB>resulting from full-wave rectification arises from a circuit node. In the condition where a signal input to the input terminals IN1, IN2 is at a low amplitude level, the transistors M1, M2 are both in OFF state. Thus, DC power consumption is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
