<p>A lighting building component (1) having at least one face of vision (2), which at least after mounting of the lighting building component (1) faces the surroundings, the component comprising a body (3) at least partially made of a light transmitting material, and a light source (6) accomodated in the body (3), such that light emitted by the light source (6) is able to reach the face of vision (2), characterized in that the body comprises a light transmitting element (11) having a cavity (4), in which a luminous element (5) at least comprising a light source 7) can be accommodated. The invention also relates to an array of lighting building components, in which one or more lighting building components according to the invention have been accommodated, wherein one or more lighting building components are embodied as described hereinbefore.
