One or more groups of three LEDs (2,3,4) are set into each light fitting (1). Each LED in a group has a different color. The fitting is set into a ceiling (14) or wall. Below the LEDs is a transparent glass plate (11). The groups of LEDs are supplied with current, via a cable (9), from a central control unit (10). The control unit regulates the currents fed to each group to change in brightness and or color as the volume or frequency of audio signal changes.
