The system is for leak-testing of a wall of a pipe and/or a connection within it and is provided with a fluid feed device (13) movable through the pipe to feed fluid to a test space enclosed by a pipe wall part. The system is provided with an enclosure (6) which fits around the pipe wall to be tested, the pipe wall part and the enclosure together limiting a detection space which is fluid-tight. The system also has fluid evacuation devices in order to create a less than atmospheric pressure in the detection space. A test fluid detection device (MS) detects the test fluid in the detection space. The enclosure comprises a closure sleeve (6) movable along the pipe (11) and is also provided with two closure rings which connect the sleeve in a fluid-tight manner on the outside of the pipe. The detection device is a mass spectrometer. The fluid feed device (13) comprises two opposing closure flanges (15) connected to each other by a coupling component (14).
