PURPOSE: Provided is a filler for clear rubber comprising wet silica, which has excellent handling capability, and provides clear rubber with excellent transparency, anti-slipping property and wear resistance. CONSTITUTION: The filler for clear rubber comprises wet silica which has a specific surface area of 100-250 m2/g, V/S ratio, i.e., the ratio of oil absorption amount(V; cc/100g) to specific surface area(S; m2/g) of 1.05 or more, and an average particle diameter of 5-10 micrometers. The filler preferably has an oil absorption amount of 105-300 cc/100g, iron impurity of 0.02 wt% or less, pore volume of 2.5 cc/g or more, pH of 6-7.5, and a crude particle content having a size of 45 micrometers or more of 0.01 wt% or less. |
