<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rewrite a display part at good timing by immediately rewriting a display screen only when external pressure is applied to a display surface of the display part and the display surface is discolored. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving an external pressure detection value from an external detection part (step S105), a control IC determines whether the external pressure detection value exceeds a threshold or not (step S107), and when the external pressure detection value exceeds the threshold (determined as Yes in the step S107), starts a rewrite preparation state of a cholesteric LCD 16 (step S108). Then the control IC monitors whether the external pressure detection value becomes the threshold and less or not (step S109), and when the external pressure detection value becomes the threshold and less, (determined as Yes in the step S109), reads display data from a RAM 143 (step S110) and redraws the display data on the cholesteric LCD 16 (step S111). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
