<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including a positive electrode having a positive active material, a negative electrode having a negative active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a nonaqueous solvent and an electrolyte salt includes: a plasma treatment process for plasma-treating the surface of the positive electrode using a non-reactive gas; and an inorganic oxide layer forming process for forming an inorganic oxide layer on the surface of the positive electrode after plasma treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
