The spatial positioning method through image analysis, involves processing of the image, which is captured by a camera. The images of video captured are the sources of informations for vision field of the camera and the diameter of the cylinder. The three dimensional position of cylindrical object is obtained by analysis of the cross-section and the edges of the cylinder in the image captured.
