FIELD: mechanical engineering; steam turbines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed nozzle box contains first and second halves of nozzle box connected by bolts to each other. Each half of nozzle box contains segment of nozzle ring which carries nozzles over arc 180 so that with halves being connected, nozzle box is formed without interruption of continuity of nozzles over circumference of 360. Nozzles, being held on each segment of nozzle ring, communicate with intake holes and corresponding channels which are square to outlet plane of nozzle box. Method of manufacture of such nozzle box described in invention. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of steam turbines. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg
