The device (1) has connection cables (2) constituting recuperation units for recovering light signals provoking from an LED (7) of visual auto-diagnostic circuit that is installed on an apparatus. A programmable component (3) i.e. peripheral interface controller 16F88(RTM: microcontroller), analyzes the recovered light signals. Generation units constituted by an amplifier (4) and a loudspeaker (5) generate a sound signal that is transmitted remotely for being analyzed and for identifying operational failure, where the sound signal corresponds to the light signals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for identifying operational failure of an apparatus, comprising a display device (2) a method for identifying operational failure of an apparatus.
