摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon which is excellent in flexibility and permeability while maintaining the high strength of the balloon and its dimension stability when expanded. <P>SOLUTION: The entire balloon, in which a material forming at least one outer layer is constituted of a resin whose melting point is lower than that of a material forming a base material layer, is covered with knitted or coiled fibers and the fibers are fixed or integrated on a balloon surface. By heating the entire balloon covered with the knitted or coiled fibers, the outer layer formed of the resin whose melting point is lower than that of the material forming the base material layer is melted, and the fibers and the balloon surface are fixed or integrated. The film thickness of the composite balloon thus obtained can be reduced since there is no need to use an adhesive when fixing or integrating the fibers and the balloon surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
