PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working safety by providing a structure in which a service plug is made incapable of attaching, in a state where cover is to be removed. SOLUTION: A power source apparatus has a service plug 3, connected freely attachably between a plurality of batteries 9 integrated in a case 1 with the removable cover 2. The power source apparatus has an wrong insertion preventing tool 5 in an attaching part 4 of the service plug 3 moving between a preventing position preventing attachment of the service plug 3 and a position allowing attachment. The cover 2 is provided with a moving mechanism 6 that makes the wrong insertion preventing tool 5 move to an attachment allowed position, in a state with the cover being attached to a fixed position. Furthermore, the wrong insertion preventing tool 5 is provided with a returning mechanism positioned in a preventing position, in a state with the cover 2 not being attached. The power source apparatus prevents attachment of the service plug 3 by moving the wrong insertion prevention tool 5 to the preventing position, in a state with the cover 2 being removed, and moves the wrong insertion preventing tool 5 to the attachment allowed position by the moving mechanism 6, in a state with the cover 2 being attached to the fixed position so as to allow the attachment of service plug 3.
