PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of providing facility information useful to a user, with high visibility on a route on the way to a destination. SOLUTION: This navigation device 10 can provide the facility information useful to the user, while securing high visibility, by being equipped with position information detection part 12 for detecting a present position, a state information detection part 14 for detecting state information on the state of an automobile or an occupant, an extraction condition determination part 16 for determining an extraction condition corresponding to the state information detected by the state information detection part 14, a facility information extraction part 18 for extracting facility information agreeing with the extraction condition in peripheral facility information from inside a facility information database D1 based on the present position detected by the position information detection part 12 and the extraction condition determined by the extraction condition determination part 16, and a peripheral information display part 20 for displaying an icon of the facility information extracted by the facility information extraction part 18 on a monitor 22 in piles on a peripheral map.
