PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent material which can keep a material cost and an assembly cost low by virtue of a simple and compact constitution, which dispenses with a wide space for installation, and which is equipped with both sufficient ventilation performance and the sure function preventing intrusion of rain and snow. SOLUTION: This vent material 1, which enables ventilation from one width-direction end surface to the other width-direction end surface, is characterized in that at least either of the end surfaces is formed as a concave surface 3 (4).
