PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a windbreak valve which does not cause the flapping of a valve plate, and which prevents noises from being generated by the flapping of the valve plate. SOLUTION: This windbreak valve comprises a circular frame body 6 which is equipped with an inverted trapezoid-shaped opening frame 7 for being fitted into an opening 4 formed in an air supply opening etc. as an assembling object, and the valve plate 8 which is formed in such a shape as to correspond to the opening frame 7 for opening/closing the opening frame 7 and which is pivotally supported on the downside of the opening frame 7. An end surface of the opening frame 7 is put into an inclined state in which an upper portion is protruded forward, and a helical torsion coil spring for constantly urging the valve plate 8 in the direction of isolation from the opening frame 7 is wound around a pivot of the valve plate 8, so that a difference can be made between wind pressure acting to close the valve plate 8, and wind pressure acting to open it.
