<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fuel oil for a fuel cell extending the life time of a desulfurization agent used in a fuel cell system and reducing the exchange frequency of the desulfurization agent when the fuel oil for a fuel cell is subjected to desulfurization in the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel oil for a fuel cell shows distillation properties of 135 to 170°C initial boiling point and ≤270°C 95%-distillation temperature, and has the total sulfur content of not more than 80 mass ppm, in which a sulfur content derived from sulfur compounds heavier than diphenylsulfide and lighter than dibenzothiophene, measured by GC-SCD (gas chromatography with chemical luminescence sulfur detector), is not more than 3 mass ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
