The staircase has a continuous formation of successive steps (3), where each step includes a thread (3.1), a front surface and/or a riser (3.3) and sidewardly aligned walls on each side. A sidewardly projecting roller is provided in an area of each wall, where the roller is guided along transversely running slide rails (5). An emergency guiding hook (13) in an area of the front surface and/or riser is attached at each step such that the hook of the higher lying step is supported against an area of the next under lying step, when the step is loaded eccentrically in an area of the thread. |
