PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotor for dynamo-electric machine which can improve the work efficiency in assembling and also can reduce the production cost. SOLUTION: An upper conductor fixing member 14 is coupled vertically to a lower conductor fixing member 7. Both end faces in the cross direction of the above conductor fixing member 14 are provided with a plurality of conductor engaging grooves 14b which serve as conductor engaging parts engagable with each conductor 8-11. Half of the plural conductor engaging grooves 14b and the residual conductor engaging grooves 14b are arranged apart in the cross direction of teeth parts. Each conductor 8-11 is fixed by being engaged with the conductor engaging groove 14b. A crimp sleeve 13 is fixed by engaging with a connection retaining member engaging slots 7b.
