PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which prevents serial high-speed data transmission from adversely affecting radio wave reception sensitivity. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is equipped with: a communication section 11 for receiving radio waves within a predetermined frequency range; a processor unit 121 which generates parallel data; a Tx high-speed serial device 122 for converting parallel data into serial data; and a processor unit or Tx high-speed serial device 122 for inserting predetermined data into pre-conversion parallel data or post-conversion serial data, wherein the processor unit or Tx high-speed serial device 122 performs control so that an integer multiple of a clock frequency of the serial data is not included within the predetermined frequency range in a case of data transmission using the parallel data and in a case of data transmission using the serial data.
