PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus and a radio communication system which adjusts polarization for each carrier and shares a band with other system using only a single polarization. SOLUTION: The system estimates a propagation path matrix (H) from a reference signal received by 2 polarization planes by a propagation path matrix estimating circuit (110), branches transmission information into 2 transmission systems, divides information of each transmission system into a plurality of carriers, modulates them for each carrier independently, and outputs them as modulation signals of 2 systems. In the modulation signals of the 2 systems, there is the modulation signal in a frequency band of either system but a compensation matrix corresponding to the estimated propagation path matrix is multiplied (19) with regard to at least one of the modulation signals which do not have a signal in the same frequency band of other system.
