摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, which can be laid on a placing base equipped with a sound generation means, and can control loudness of sound emitted from the sound generation means of the placing base to become smaller than that of sound emitted by a sound generation means of the apparatus, when the apparatus is laid on the placing base. SOLUTION: A cellular phone 1 according to the present invention comprises a CPU 821 capable of establishing a volume set value, speakers 800A and 800B, and a switch portion 835 for switching the output destination of sound data and the volume set value. When the cellular phone 1 is laid on a placing base 900, the switch portion 835 switches the output destination of sound data and the volume set value from the speakers 800A and 800B to speakers 910A and 910B of the placing base. The CPU 821 changes the volume set value so that sound emitted from the speakers 910A and 910B of the placing base 900 may become quieter than sound emitted by the speakers 800A and 800B.
