PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buttonholing machine capable of easily adjusting a balance of thickness of buttonhole stitches formed. SOLUTION: In the buttonholing machine, a sewing mechanism and control of a feed table can form a buttonhole stitch of left and right zigzag stitches and back and front bar tacking stitches. In a program mode set by a select key 431, in a state that double-sewing of a parameter is selected by a program number key 421, a mode in which both the back and front bar tacking stitches and the left and right zigzag stitches are doubly sewn and a mode in which only the left and right zigzag stitches are doubly sewn can be switched by an up down key 411.
