PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognizing device capable of preventing voice recognizing processing from being delayed due to the time for waiting for transfer of partial grammar when performing check processing based on the partial grammar prepared by dividing words and phrases to be recognized written in grammar into one part or more. SOLUTION: This voice recognizing device is composed of a first grammar storing part 102 storing one partial grammar or more, a second grammar storing part 103 storing one partial grammar or more, a first checking part 107 for performing check processing by referring to the partial grammar stored in the second grammar storing part 103, a grammar transfer part 104 for transferring following part grammar from the first grammar storing part 102 to the second grammar storing part 103, a second checking part 108 operating simultaneously with the grammar transfer part 104 and performing check processing by referring to the partial grammar stored in the second grammar storing part 103, and a recognition control part 106 monitoring the transfer state of the following part grammar in the grammar transfer part 104 and operating both of the checking parts 107, 108 by switching them depending on the transfer situations of the partial grammar.
