<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium using an organic dye material for recording/reproducing information with light of a wavelength of 620 nm or less, and to provide a recording method using the same, and a recording device. <P>SOLUTION: Due to the effect of absorption spectroscopic characteristics of a general organic dye material, light absorbance is significantly reduced with light having a wavelength shorter than 620 nm, and recording sensitivity decreases. By adopting an "L→H" organic dye recording material whose reflectance in a recorded part (recording mark) increases more than that of a non-recorded part, the recording mark is formed using discoloration action by separation of electron coupling, so that substrate deformation is not required, thereby improving the recording sensitivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
