The present invention relates to a method for recycling a composite container for high pressure gas. More specifically, a composite container such as a hydrogen storing tank for high pressure gas is separated into an internal container and an external container to recycle the composite container, and a carbon fiber is collected in a long fiber state by using a new collecting device capable of separating a carbon fiber contained in the external container without cutting the carbon fiber, so a collecting rate of carbon fibers may be improved and recycling efficiency may be remarkably enhanced. Moreover, provided is a carbon fiber collecting device used in collecting carbon fibers.
