<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with installation of a checker in a connector body in connection work of a pipe and to prohibit careless operation in the engagement-releasing direction of a pipe retainer. <P>SOLUTION: This connector 10 has the connector body 20, the pipe retainer 30 and the checker 40. The checker 40 is engaged with a temporarily fastening position between the connector body 20 and the checker 40. First engaging means 27 and 45 are arranged for push-moving the checker 40 to a regular fastening position by releasing engagement by a flange 51 of the pipe 50 inserted into a normal position, and second engaging means 28 and 45 are arranged for engaging the checker 40 push-moved to the regular fastening position from the temporaril y fastening position with the regular fastening position. Operation prohibiting means 35 and 46 are arranged between the pipe retainer 30 and the checker 40 for prohibiting operation in the engagement releasing direction of the pipe retainer 30 when the checker 40 is push-moved to the regularly fastening position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
