Provided is a sealing structure using a torsional damper and an oil seal that can reduce exposure of a seal lip of the oil seal to foreign matter encroaching from the torsional damper. The sealing structure (1) using the torsional damper and the oil seal is formed using a damper pulley (10) and an oil seal (20). The damper pulley (10) has, at a disk part (16) of a hub (11), an annular projecting ridge part (30) that projects between a window part (16a) and a boss part (14) at the side toward a front cover (83) which is an attached part. The oil seal (20) is provided with a side lip (23) extending outward, and a flange (40). The side lip (23) extends to the inside of an annular groove (31) of the damper pulley (10) and forms a gap (2). The flange (40) covers and faces the projecting ridge part (30) of the damper pulley (10) and forms a gap (3) and a gap (4). |
