PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave absorber having good rigidity while being simple in structure.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave absorber comprises a nonwoven fabric sheet including a conductive material, a thermoplastic fiber and a heat-fusable resin. The nonwoven fabric sheet has a thickness of over 2 mm, and a bending resistance of 100 mN or larger, which has been measured by Gurley method, and is manufactured by an air-laid method. The conductive material is a material having an electrical conductivity, and is used to impart a dielectric property to the nonwoven fabric sheet. As the conductive material, at least one kind of fiber selected from carbon fiber, silicon carbide fiber and metal fiber is used; (anisotropic or isotropic) carbon fiber, such as PAN based carbon fiber, or pitch-based carbon fiber is used as the carbon fiber; and fiber of aluminum, gold, silver, copper, nickel, iron, magnesium, stainless or the like is used as the metal fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
