PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the adhesion of a carrier to a photoreceptor, when the main power supply of an image forming apparatus is cut off during printing.SOLUTION: A high-voltage power supply device 9 is arranged in an image forming apparatus 1 including a photoreceptor drum 42, an electrifying roller 44, and a developing roller 431. In the photoreceptor drum 42, a toner image is formed on a peripheral surface. The electrifying roller 44 electrifies the peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum 42. The developing roller 431 supplies toner to the photoreceptor drum 42. Further, the high-voltage power supply device 9 applies a voltage to the developing roller 431. The high-voltage power supply device 9 includes a capacitor C. The capacitor C makes the fall time of a bias voltage applied to the developing roller 431 a previously set threshold time or more, when the main power supply for supplying power to the image forming apparatus 1 is cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
