The process for producing a transfer paper is characterized by mixing 1000 g silicon and 3000 cc toluene with 100 g low density polyethylene wax, heating the mixt. at 200 deg.C to obtain a releasing soln., coating a basic paper with the soln. to obtain a release paper, screen-transcribing the release paper with a transfer ink, and spraying the surface of the transfer ink with a thermosetting resin powder (nylon powder). The transfer ink is prepd. by mixing PVC or PET with xylene, dissolving it at 100 deg.C, and adding PE wax, cyclohexanone and coloring matter to the mixt. The transfer paper is press-transfered on the textile.
