<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set enhancing hue saturation by improving imbalance of light stability of a dye and pigments in an ink set using a combination of the dye and pigments, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set comprises yellow ink, black ink, magenta ink and cyan ink, wherein colorants in the black ink, magenta ink and cyan ink are pigments and a colorant in the yellow ink contains a specific dye.
