The applicator for fluids, such as a paint brush, consists of a holder (5) in the form of a hollow shaft (6), for the bristles (8) which contains a cavity for the liquid, and which has at least one outlet. An extension for the outlet is fixed to the periphery of the holder (5). The cavity (7) contains a displacement-piece (12) in the form of a piston (13). The displacement-piece is filled and emptied by means of the bristles (8). The displacement-piece (12) is connected to the closure-piece (3) of the container (2).
